Development begins on new Atlanta-area MOB

(Woodstock, Ga. – Oct. 11, 2012) Duke Realty has begun development of Northside Hospital’s new 100,817-square-foot, four-story Northside Cherokee Towne Lake Medical Office Building (MOB) at 900 Towne Lake Parkway in Woodstock, about 25 miles north of Atlanta.

The MOB will be leased solely by Northside Hospital and will house a wide variety of outpatient healthcare services and physician practices representing numerous medical specialties. Duke Realty, an Indianapolis-based commercial real estate firm, also is developing a three-story, 350-space parking garage, which will complement 159 surface parking spaces. The building will be owned by Duke Realty Towne Lake Development LLC, a wholly-owned entity of Duke Realty Limited Partnership.

The MOB will be located about four miles south of Northside’s Holly Springs Medical Campus and 11 miles south of the future home of the Northside Hospital-Cherokee replacement campus.

The new MOB is expected to be completed in August 2013.The architect for the project is Lyman Davidson Dooley Inc. and the general contractor is Brasfield & Gorrie.
