EnvisionWare’s move to a high-tech headquarters facility will double the company’s existing space and accommodate future growth.
(Atlanta, Ga. – April 12, 2011) Duke Realty Corporation (Duke Realty) has closed an 18,951-square foot lease with EnvisionWare Inc., a provider of advanced technology solutions to libraries, at the Business Park at Sugarloaf in Duluth, Ga.
EnvisionWare will more than double its existing space by moving into an upgraded headquarters facility that will include expanded warehouse and office space, a 75-seat auditorium for large meetings and training sessions, and climatecontrolled storage facilities housing the company’s RFID (radio frequency identification) and other technology systems. The company will also establish a Library of the Future showcasing existing and future library technologies. The company will relocate from its current 8,220-square foot headquarters at Duke Realty’s 2810 Premiere Parkway facility.
“This is the company’s fourth move in a decade, and we’re excited to have the opportunity to move into a facility that will accommodate future growth and allow us to double the size of our company over the next five to seven years,” said Michael J. Monk, vice president of EnvisionWare. “The ample parking, multiple loading docks, expanded warehouse space, and the fact that it already has a built-in auditorium were ideal components that drew us to this site. We wanted to stay with Duke Realty because the management is stellar, the landscaping is always top-notch, and we get incredibly fast response to every request.”
EnvisionWare will occupy 22 percent of the 83,200-square foot 2855 Premiere Parkway building, which currently has 24,000 feet of available space. The facility is located in Atlanta’s northeast industrial submarket near Gwinnett Center, a multi-use sports and entertainment complex. “It’s convenient and easy to find, thanks to the proximity to Gwinnett Arena,”
Monk said. “Nearly everyone in Atlanta is familiar with Gwinnett Arena and the Sugarloaf area.”
Ernest Kiser, director at Newmark Knight Frank, represented EnvisionWare in the transaction. Brian Sutton, Vice President, represented Duke Realty.
“Duke Realty is pleased to be able to continue to provide expanded, state-of-the-art space to accommodate the growth of EnvisionWare,” said Duke Realty Senior Vice President Chris Brown. “We value our relationship with EnvisionWare and hope to serve its growth needs well into the future.”
Business Park at Sugarloaf is strategically located off Interstate 85, providing convenient access to customers both north and south of Atlanta. The 83,200-square foot 2855 Premiere Parkway building features 24-foot clear-height ceilings and 40-foot by 40-foot column spacing.
