Duke Realty Promotes Chris Brown to Regional Senior Vice President

(Atlanta, Ga. and Nashville, Tenn. – Jan. 8, 2014)  J. Christopher Brown has been promoted to Regional Senior Vice President for Duke Realty’s Georgia/Tennessee Region. In his new position, Brown will be responsible for the company’s Nashville, Tenn. operations in addition to Atlanta and Savannah, Ga. Brown will oversee the leasing and management of Duke Realty’s industrial and office properties in these markets, which total more than 23 million square feet, as well as work to identify acquisition and development opportunities, new land positions and prospects for build-to-suit development.

Brown has overseen Duke Realty’s Atlanta and Savannah operations since 2007. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Leasing in Atlanta and held positions in the company’s financial analysis and acquisitions and dispositions departments. He joined Duke Realty in 1996 after five years as a senior real estate consultant for a major accounting firm.

A graduate of the College of William and Mary, Brown has a Bachelor of Business Administration Accounting degree. He is on the board of the Georgia Bioscience Joint Development Authority, Council for Quality Growth, Fowler Family YMCA and AAC Junior Golf Foundation. Brown also is a member of NAIOP (National Association of Industrial and Office Properties) and SIOR (Society of Industrial and Office Relators).
